How are removable extensions put on?

Surely you're tired of watching YouTube tutorials on how to put on removable extensions, and you already know perfectly well how to put on long hair yourself! But since we have several types of removable extensions, we want to explain to you one by one how to put them on!

Before putting on any type of removable extensions, we recommend that when you buy your new extensions, you adapt your hair cut a little so that it is not noticeable that you are wearing extensions. Our stylists will always give you a hand!

Removable extensions with clips: It is the best-known system of removable extensions. We have them available in various sizes, 45, 50, 60 and 65cm, so you can choose the one that best suits your hair. The extension packages come with 3 strips, one of 25, 15 and 10cm. (Video here)

• • Step 1: On clean and previously combed hair (with waves or straight, depending on the hairstyle you prefer) we make a section 3 or 4 fingers above the nape of the neck.
  • Step 2: We will backcomb the roots of the hair so that they hold the extension clips better and do not slip away.
  • Step 3: We will first position the 10cm strip on the nape of the neck.
  • Step 4: We make another partition from one ear to the other, and repeat the process. We card the root and then position the 25cm strip.
  • Step 5: We will make the next section 2 or 3 fingers above the previous strip, that way we will cover all the hair without the natural hair cut and the extension being noticeable.

Removable extensions with thread: A very innovative system that simplifies the classic system of removable extensions. It consists of a single 100g strip of hair that is secured with transparent thread, with which we will give length and volume to our hair. (Video here)

• • • Step 1: With the hair clean and combed, we will position the extension thread on the upper front part, and weave the extension with the hair facing back.
    • Step 2: With our fingers we will lower the weave of the extension to the occipital bone until it fits.
    • Step 3: We will remove strands of hair above the thread and the extension so that it is hidden. And that's it!
