How to care for your hair with extensions?

How to take care of our extensions?

Caring for hair extensions is essential so that they do not get damaged and have an impeccable appearance. It is essential to brush your hair before washing, that way we will avoid tangles. Just like not washing your hair upside down or using circular movements when soaping it to get rid of tangles. It is also essential to do it with warm water, avoiding high temperatures so as not to affect the bonding of the extensions.

Likewise, shampoo is also key. The ideal is to use the special shampoo for Play Extensions extensions. If not, you should use mild shampoos, with a neutral pH and without oils, silicones or parabens. When washing them, the ideal is to go from the middle to the ends, massaging gently and avoiding rubbing, above all. After that, rinsing must be done thoroughly, since all traces of shampoo that may remain must be removed.

Once washed, it is essential to hydrate them. You can use the mask of our brand with rinsing, applying it from the roots to the ends. You can let it clear after 3 to 5 minutes. If you don't have enough time, you can use a leave-in or rinse-out conditioner, also applying it from the mid-lengths to the ends to prevent the conditioner from reaching the roots.

Once the hair has been rinsed well, we will proceed to drying. We will remove the moisture with a towel without rubbing and with small taps. Afterwards, we will proceed to completely dry your hair. Let's not forget that we cannot brush with wet hair, it is harmful to your hair and that of the extensions, since after washing, there is a greater risk of the hair breaking. Once 100% dry, we can brush it to untangle.
