It all started when a co-worker showed up one day with XL hair at the office. I remember that it caused a big stir among all of us since many of us had been looking for the same change of look for some time.
The radical change in look caught my attention and I decided that I also wanted to take the step. At that time I didn't know anything about hair extensions and maybe that's why I made the first mistake: Do not go to a center specialized in natural hair extensions.
After seeing several hair salons, I decided on a salon that was very close to the office, where I asked if they offered extensions. I should have realized that they didn't advertise that they put extensions anywhere.
I remember that the girl who helped me only took a few minutes to analyze my case and didn't ask me many questions. Looking back, I realize that that person was not an expert in hair extensions and he did not perform a personalized diagnosis on me.
He just told me that he was going to put in some extensions that were right for my fine hair, that I wouldn't have any problems and that I was going to love them. The price he told me was well below the prices I had seen in other salons, so I was quite satisfied.
Now I am an expert on the subject, but at that time I was not aware of what they were doing to me, I don't even remember what system they placed on me. I only know that it was a disaster, the first night I couldn't even sleep because of the tension I had in my scalp, and the following days there was a lot of pain in my scalp, I couldn't even touch my hair!
